  • The mentorship program length itself can be up to 1 year long. Ultimately, the decision is up to your team in terms of what makes the most sense for you.

    Common mentorship program lengths we’ve worked with include:

    • One-time match (1 day)

    • 4 weeks

    • 3 months

    • 6 months

    • 1 year

  • We designed this program to be as customizable as possible to ensure that your team of program coordinator(s) and mentors have a successful program.

    Some customizable components of the program include:

    • The number of mentees in the program.

    • The number of mentors in the program.

    • Attributes you’d like to request as we recruit mentees (demographics, school, graduation year, region, major, etc.).

    • Matchable attributes. We have a list for you to choose from, or you can create your own for an additional fee.

    • The length of the program (1 year max).

    • The type of matching (1-to-1, 1-to-many, or many-to-many).

  • We’ll run the data collected from mentees and mentors through our MentorMind™ Matching Service to create a non-biased, data-centric match.

  • In addition to the program itself, here are some added perks we think you’ll love.

    ⭐️ Co-Hosted Event. We’ll coordinate with you to co-host an event related to your technology, opportunities at the company, or just good ol’ networking. It’s up to you if this event is open to our whole community or just our program.

    ⭐️ Resume Booklet. Our growing resume booklet features talented students & new grads from various universities, backgrounds, and majors. You’ll have access to this throughout the duration of our program.

    ⭐️ Opal Community on Slack. You’ll forever have access to our Opal Community via Slack, where you can share opportunities, learn more about our events, or reach out directly to Opal Community members. All of our program communications will be facilitated via Slack.

  • We work with your team to determine the ideal mentee for your program. This can be based on a number of factors, including major, year in school, demographics, etc.

    Our team will fulfill the mentee recruitment by finding people that fit your requirements, run the options by you, and let you finalize the list of mentees before we officially invite anyone to the program.
